Biography:
Saad Khan is a Pakistani comedian, actor and film maker, who is known as the “Khan of Comedy”. He performs Stand Up and MC’s for various events and shows in Qatar. Known as the “Khan of Comedy” on twitter, he started doing comedy when he was selected as one of the winners of a stand up comedy competition by Ahmed Ahmed, a well known Egyptian American comedian, to perform alongside him in the Sheraton. As a Pakistani who is born and raised in Qatar, he brings a fresh perspective to the comedy scene. He has opened up for and performed alongside successful comedians like Nemr Abou Nassar, Ahmed Ahmed, & Erik Griffin. Khan is one of the founding members of SUCQ (Stand Up Comedy Qatar), a local comedy troupe in Qatar, His success with SUCQ led to him being featured in a BBC article and drew comparisons with Oliver Hardy. He has also hosted for various events in the country such as Doha Tribeca Film Festival, Ajyal Film Festival, Barwa Shopping Festival, Northwestern University in Qatar Media Awards, NUQ Factor, VW Junior Masters and various SUCQ events. Being one of the handful of Pakistani comedians in the world, Khan views the world in a different way and this point of view draws audiences from all over the world.
